Instead of fatty potato chips with a hamburger, try getting some fresh fruit and vegetables as a side! Stay away from items that are high in sugar, fat, and preservatives because it causes an increase in inflammation in the body! Don’t forget to stay hydrated as well! We tend to forget about hydrating with water when we are out and about having fun. It's incredibly important to drink water in the summer due to excessive activity and warmer weather Don't wait until you're thirsty to drink water because at that point, it's too late and you're already dehydrated. A good rule of thumb is to drink half of your body weight in ounces per day!
